How to delete FB cover photo Featured

Today I was browsing my images on Facebook. I am not very active FB user so I have just realized that pictures uploaded once as a cover photo are publicly visible to anyone. That's not ideal.

I understand that people should be considering what to upload as their cover photo. I think I am person who is fairly private and posting ALWAYS images that are ok to be visible and shared in case of privacy leakage even though by default all my photos are visible to my friends only.

However, even once pretty good photo can became a problem - like if you break up with your partner and do not wish to have an image of him/her in your albums (especially the public one).

I was trying for a while to figure out how to delete this image but unfortunately not successfully. After a long time googling, I found the answer. And because I think this is very handy tip, I am sharing with you.

To delete any of your photos in cover photos album:

  1. Find when you have uploaded this image (click on the image in the cover photo album, the date is below your avatar)
  2. Locate the activity on your timeline
  3. When you find it, right click on the picture and choose open in new tab/window
  4. The image in new tab or window have more options below. Locate delete this photo and get rid of it.

EASY! thanks Noman Ali for your help!
